Every day we face battles. Some are physical battles and some are mental, but they all take a toll on us. This time of year, many people report feeling anxious and overwhelmed. The holidays are supposed to be a time of joy, but for some, they’re a time of stress and anxiety.
Thankfully, there are ways to find peace and win the battle of your mind. Here are three steps that will help you find peace and win the battle of your mind.
Step One: Be Grateful

When you’re grateful, it’s impossible to be negative. When you’re grateful for what you have, your mind is filled with positive thoughts and you’re able to see the good in every situation. Be grateful for your health, your family, your friends, your job, your home, and all the other blessing in your life. A thankful heart is a happy heart. When you have a grateful heart, you’ll find it’s easier to win the battle of your mind.
Step Two: Speak Life

The words you speak have power. You can either spoke life or death over yourself with your words. If you constantly speak words of defeat, you will believe those words and they will become true in your life. But if you spoke words of victory, those words will also become true. It’s up to you to choose which words you speaks over yourself. So choose wisely!
Step Three: Focus on What You Can Control

One of the quickest ways to lose the battle of your mind is to try to control everything and everyone around you. The only person you can control is yourself. You can’t control other people or how they act or what they do, but you can control how you react and what you do. When you focus on what you can control—yourself—you’ll find it’s much easier to win the battle of your mind.”
